pokhara

I love pokhara and I m proud to write something about pokhara.Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. The enchanting city with a population of around 95,000 has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panaromic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. So today the city has not only become the starting point for most popular trekking and rafting destinations but also a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Pokhara is part of a once vibrant trade route extending between India and Tibet. To this day, mule trains can be seen camped on the outskirts of the town, bringing goods to trade from remote regions of the Himalaya. This is the land of Magars and Gurungs, hardworking farmers and valorous warriors who have earned worldwide fame as Gurkha soldiers. The Thakalis, another important ethnic group here, are known for their entrepreneurship.
The climate of Pokhara is slightly warmer than Kathmandu with daytime temperature hovering around 15 degrees Celsius in winter and 35 degrees in summer. The monsoon season which lasts from mid-June to mid-September is very wet; in fact Pokhara records the
highest rainfall in the country. Best time to visit is between October and April.
The activities of foreign visitors to Pokhara focus around two districts known as Damside and Lakeside (or Pardi and Baidam, in Nepali, respectively). These two areas, with their strips of hotels and restaurants, are a few kilometers south-west of the main Pokhara bazaar.

Hospitality

Hospitality

Concept and nature of hospitality
As we can define hospitality through many way, through my view hospitality is reception and entertainment of gust, visitor, or Stanger with liberality and goodwill the most important aspect of the hospitality personifies warm welcome, reception and cordiality however, in hostility industry the warm reception invariably includes providing a pleasant environment by means of its available facilities and activities.
Also when I was reading about the hospitality industry I found a book where the English speaker created the distinction of hospitality industry according to evolutionary process of tourism activities in the late century. in the text, the word the hotel is used generic ally to include motels and inns.
Hospitality industry is gradually and especially stratified into two sectors:
Private sector
Public sector
Accommodation, catering, transport, travel agency, tour operators, entertainment and leisure products guide and information services fall in private sector.
Planning and development, transport, power, immigration, custom and excise, marketing, licensing, and regulation fall in public sector.
The new names of hospitality industry have increasingly been created by the retailer of it’s business, namely hotel, resort, guest house, rest house, safari lodge, cottage pop bar and other trade groups. it has to be focused on the basic needs of guest and they are ;physical e.g a safe and comfortable surroundings to live in, quality food and beverage, and excellent service; psychological, e.g the urg  to buy, it can be helped by indirectly advertising the various in the establishment that may appeal to them; social e.g  guest/visitors want a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation and entertainment; practical eg guest/visitors want facilities for travel arrangement.
For us to fit in hospitality services, one should ha the virtue of friendliness, helpfulness and willingness towards the guest. The service is about creating a sense of well being in guests, making them fell welcome and valued, and at the same time ensuring that their needs are looked after. In  the hospitality industry. Good service means giving guest a little more than expected. Guest’s needs and expectations must be always anticipated by the employees. This will not only bring profit to the establishment but also will yield extra individual benefits to the staff.
Hence: Hospitality industry is dedicated to provide quality, product and service to the gust under xenial conditions.
To fit in hospitality service, one should have the virtue of friendliness, helpfulness and willingness towards the guest.

Value of time

We know that  times play a vital role in our life so I m writing something about value of time as on There are things that just happen every time and with everyone. Same is the case with time. Most of the times we take it for granted that there is always plenty of time. Due to this perhaps we indulge in various activities, which are a wholesale waste of time.

The clock is always ticking. The seconds keep on ticking just like busy ants. The ants keep themselves always busy by always hunting for food everywhere. Similarly the seconds always keep on ticking to attain short-term goals of making a minute with 60 ticks. After reaching a milestone of a minute the second's hand of a clock don't take a break, but start afresh for another round of 60 ticks. The take it minute by minute and inadvertently reach a quarter of an hour, and hour and then a day. They always focus on the smaller targets- that is a minute and the bigger aim of the clock itself gets fulfilled. That's why the minutes hand have to work less, as the seconds hand does most of the running around. The minute hand just has to make 60 movements on a clock dial. The hours hand is the luckiest of the lot. It just moves for 12 times in an hour. But the seconds hand movies for 3600 times around the dial for the same hour!

Parallel to this, in our life to we never realizes that we have lots to do. Between every big task we can always find enough time to fit in a plethora of smaller tasks. If you are waiting for a train at the station, you can always read a magazine or rather chalk out your study timetable for exams. While traveling in the bus too one can find enough time to at least skim through the previous days notes.

Be like the clock. Always keep on ticking by involving yourself in various things and learning new things. These small knowledge and experience modules will perhaps one day take you to your bigger goal some day. They say "Time and Tide waits for no man". If so, now stop staring at the screen and utilize your time effectively!
Everyone is so short on TIME these days. What you think?

love

In my view Love is difficult to define. How do you avoid confusing it with infatuation or lust? i m writing this blogs by thinking i don't think i could define love but after when i fell it and words come automatically  in my mind because i love the word love,i am searching love on some one towards me and i hope some one will help me to........................., not only me now all the teenage falls in love with someone because love will not be by creating and saying that i love u because Love is something that you feel, though have a hard time describing. Every which word you choose to describe love, just doesn't seem to do it justice. It's a warm feeling of butterflies in your stomach, overwelming adoration, intense passion and caring.
my friends told me that "Love is encompassing. accepting. believing. hoping.enduring. "Love is as perennial as the grass" it keeps growing. Love is healing and a great aid in understanding...not only the one you love, but your self. It has been said that love affects your eyesight. Where love is strong, faults are few. You choose to let trifles pass and deliberately set out to create a happy moment. Happiness becomes habitual as long as loving is active. Love can be passionate, tender, gentle and protective. Love knows freedom from fear. The love and liberty that is given comes back. Love does not exist without respect for boundaries and the right to privacy and choice. Love is not ownership or possession. It is the best soil for a super abundant life...love is a living growing energizing life-sustaining, enriching...life itself.  also i write this blogs to give some knoladge about love for all my frn's who visit my site and read this blogs so i little bet copy from other sourses to make clear about love,at first i only want to write about my love story but after i write about love and i define love from diffrent veiw so i know this will help my frns to know something about love from my side so i try to write something

And Most of my friend  told me that the  definition of love as a strong romantic attachment between two people, often intermingled with sexual desire and attraction.but i find that people defined love more broadly, encompassing many relationships. These forms of love and affection hold true today, although may not be the first definition that comes to mind when one hears the word. For example:
Love among family members; familial love, or love based on kinship ties
A mother’s love for her offspring
Love of neighbor, based on the Christian teaching of expressing concern and charity for all people
Love of country, or patriotism
Love of God, or expressive love for a deity or deities but god........

Here i have tried to define love through several definitions.which are compressed from other defi..

1-Love is a feeling of strong connection and attachment those are persuaded by extreme delight and admiration; dedication and devotion to each other along with affection and tenderness.

2-Love is not a necessity, but it is life's greatest gift and luxury. It is to care, to be kind and patient. It is considered as perfect love when a person doesn't expect anything else but love.

3-Love is like a disease. All humans affected by love may do enormously stupid things or turn overprotective for the things they love. Love is like a drug. It's a natural "high", but sooner or later you'll have to go through mandatory and painful withdrawal.

4-love is an illusion
5-Also love is define as a strong positive emotion of; affection or pleasure

History of lumbini

Lumbini is the traditional birthplace of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, who was born in the 7th or 6th century BC.

According to Buddhist tradition, Maya Devi (or Mayadevi) gave birth to the Buddha on her way to her parent's home in Devadaha in the month of May in the year 642 BC. Feeling the onset of labor pains, she grabbed hold of the branches of a shade tree and gave birth to Siddharta Gautama, the future Buddha. The Buddha is said to have announced, "This is my final rebirth" as he entered the world. Buddhist tradition also has it that he walked immediately after his birth and took seven steps, under each of which a lotus flower bloomed.
In 249 BC, the Buddhist convert Emperor Ashoka visited Lumbini and constructed four stupas and a stone pillar. Ashoka's Pillar bears an inscription that translates as: "King Piyadasi (Ashoka), beloved of devas, in the 20 year of the coronation, himself made a royal visit, Buddha Sakyamuni having been born here, a stone railing was built and a stone pillar erected to the Bhagavan ["blessed one"] having been born here. Lumbini village was taxed reduced and entitled to the eight part (only)".
Monasteries and temples were built at Lumbini until the 9th century, but Buddhism declined in the area after the arrival of Islam and later Hinduism. All that remained was a sculpture, revered by local women as a fertility symbol. The garden of the Buddha's birth was lost for a thousand years.
The site was rediscovered in 1895, when a German archaeologist came upon Ashoka's Pillar, identified by its inscription. Records made by the Chinese pilgrim Fa Xian were also used in the process of identifying this religiously acclaimed site. Lumbini was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

a path to peace- lord buddha

Today, when we go through the news papers, watch electronic Media, first thing comes under our observation is mostly more about crime, corruption, terrorist attacks, murders, scandal etc. This is not only that we read but also we practically experience every day.  There are a few tyrants and terrorists who have perturbed the peace and  happiness in the whole world.
Mahatma Gandhi once says, “When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall — think of it, always.” This is true that we can see in the life of Ashoka and many others but the reason is never human rather opinion, belief and behaviour.
The Knowledge of Buddha has changed Ashoka completely. He became noble and a powerful emperor without sword after Kalinga war. Today, we are in the same circumstances and desperate for a big change, a great peace, intrinsically and extrinsically, both.
Only one way now remains which is “A Path to Peace” and “An Art of Living” which  is the teachings of Lord Buddha which are simple and practical  in nature unlike Vedantic philosophy. He declared that everything is impermanent or transitory. He proclaimed Four Noble Truths:
( a)  Sorrow,
( b ) Cause of sorrow,
( c ) Cessation of sorrow, and
( d ) The path leading to the cessation of sorrow.

Tourism

The words tourism is derived from the French word ‘tourism’ literally means to tour and travel. Tourism is the process of temporary movement in the particular destination undertaken by the human that starts from one point and ultimately ends at the point where one started the journey from. It is a phenomenon of human character related to tour and travelling at a particular area, locality, site, places, etc .But travelling without any reason for temporary stay is not termed as tourism. It is something about people who travel away from their familiar home environment for many reasons. In order to know the meaning of tourism, one should also know the simple ideology ‘tour’
Also we can define tourism is the temporary movement of people to destination outside of the places where they normally live and work, and their activities during their stay at these destination.
Also tourism is the sum of phenomenon and relationship arising from the travel and stay of non-resident, in so far as they do not lead to permanent resident and are not connected  with any earning activities.
According to world tourism organization (wto) “the tourists are temporary visitors staying at lest 24 hours in the country visited and tourism is the living activities at the spotlight

Lastely Tourism is travel for predominantly recreational or leisure purposes or the provision of services to support this leisure travel. The World Tourism Organization defines tourists as people who "travel to and stay in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes not related to the exercise of an activity remunerated from within the place visited". Tourism has become a popular global leisure activity. In 2004, there were over 763 million international tourist arrivals.

Tourism is vital for many countries, due to the income generated by the consumption of goods and services by tourists, the taxes levied on businesses in the tourism industry, and the opportunity for employment in the service industries associated with tourism. These service industries include transportation services such as cruise ships and taxis, accommodation such as hotels, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues, and other hospitality industry services such as spas and resorts.

Highest national park of the world

sagarmatha national park [Mt.Everest]is the highest national park in the world, with the entire park located above 3,000 m ( 9,700 ft). This park includes three peaks higher than 8,000 m, including Mt Everest. Therefore, most of the park area is very rugged and steep, with its terrain cut by deep rivers and glaciers. Unlike other parks in the plain areas, this park can be divided into four climate zones because of the rising altitude. The climatic zones include a forested lower zone, a zone of alpine scrub, the upper alpine zone which includes upper limit of vegetation growth, and the Arctic zone where no plants can grow. The types of plants and animals that are found in the park depend on the altitude.

In the lower forested zone, birch, juniper, blue pines, firs, bamboo and rhododendron grow. Above this zone all vegetation are found to be dwarf or shrubs. As the altitude increases, plant life is restricted to lichens and mosses. Plants cease to grow at about 5,750 m (18,690 ft), because this is the permanent snow line in the Himalayas.
The Sagarmatha National Park is one of the most beautiful places on earth, especially in summer. After the first monsoon rains in June, different kinds of plant grow rapidly. The hillsides become green and different varieties of flowers start blooming, and butterflies of myriad species appear in different colors.
Due to the presence of insects in the environment, many kinds of birds are also seen in the park. 118 species of birds and 26 species of butterflies have made this park their home.

Some of the endangered animals that are found in this park are musk deer, wild yak, red panda, snow leopard and Himalayan black bear. Besides, many other animals such as Himalayan thars, deer, langur monkeys, hares, mountain foxes, martens, and Himalayan wolves are found in the park. However, their numbers are not very large and many visitors may not be able to see them.
The oxygen gets thinner with the altitude. Therefore, the animals that are found here are adapted to living on less oxygen as well as a cold temperature. They have thick coats to retain body heat. Some of them have shortened limbs to prevent loss of body heat. The Himalayan bears go into hibernation in caves during the winter when there is no food available.

Aids in nepal

I am sure everyone has asked the question at least once in their life; what is AIDS? So how do I answer that question; what is AIDS? This answer to a very frequently asked question should provide you with the information you need to know. What is AIDS?
AS we can know that aids is serious (often fatal) disease of the immune system transmitted through blood products especially by sexual contact or contaminated needles  as so in our countery now a days there are many people who are suffruing from aids so I write this by reading nepali news as below
Everyone is doing it otherwise there'd be no babies. Take a look at these interesting numbers that give an insight into sex and all that goes with it.
The first case of AIDS in Nepal was recorded in 1988.
In 2008, 1759 cases of AIDS and 11,000 cases of HIV infection were officially reported. UNAIDS estimates there are actually 70,000 people living with HIV.
Two times as many men reported of infection than women.
HIV prevalence among intravenous drug users was 34.5 percent in 2007, down from 51 in 2003.
Some 100,000 Nepali women work in the brothels in India. About 50 percent of them are estimated to be infected with HIV.
15 percent of 14-year-olds and 50 percent of those aged 19 have had sexual encounters.
Among Nepali teens, the number of boys who have had sexual intercourse is 3 times more than the number of girls.
Only 9 percent of 15 - 19 years old use contraception.
48 percent of women of reproductive age or their partners use a means of contraception, up from 15 percent in 1986.
Abortion was legalised in Nepal in 2002. In 2006, 151 government-approved abortion facilities were started and 85,000 women had had legal abortions.
66 percent of women have at least one child by the time they are 24 years old.
33 percent of pregnancies are unintended pregnancies.
There are 1250 verses in Kama Sutra, divided into 36 chapters. Only 10 of them deal with sexual union and describe 64 sexual acts.
The average male penis length is approximately 13-15 cm (5.1-6 inches) when erect. There is no scientific evidence to prove that some races have larger penises than others.
A drawing of a sheath being worn like a condom was discovered that dates back to the Egyptians of 1000 BC. They were widespread in the 1500s during a syphilis epidemic in Europe.
The year 2010 marked the 50th anniversary of the invention of oral contraceptive pill for women.
